Phantom - Hale Theatre

Had the wonderful challenge to shoot the final tech rehearsal of Phantom at Hale Theatre. It's a brilliant show but the nature of the production is that it is lit very darkly. Superbly dramatic for the audience....bit of a nightmare for the photographer! ;-)

A couple of resulting shots below...

Seussical Jr - Studio 3 Art Space

More fun than you can shake a stick at. The cast did an incredible job of learning this in about 3 weeks. This show has since been nominated for numerous awards at the AriZoni's.

Singapore - part 2

The city has very cleverly controlled development so that public spaces and gardens contrast with the dramatic skyscrapers. Makes for a great destination.

Singapore - Architecture highlights

There is a surprise on every corner in Singapore. Some traditional....some very contemporary....all fascinating.

I was racing past this on the way to dinner and snapped it quickly. To my regret, I have no idea on it's significance or use. But isn't it beautiful?

London

After an incredibly busy few days Event Producing in London it was great to have a day to revisit this brilliant city and some familiar sites....from unfamiliar angles.

Ok, it's over done in post but the sky was pleading for this!

9 to 5 - Hale Theatre, Gilbert

My first shoot in this brilliant theatre! It's in the round which presents challenges for the actors....and for me! Really fun production with talented local actors and a very dedicated technical and backstage team.

Disneyland

Performing in Disneyland was so much fun but doing it outside was pretty brutal. For the kids, it was so hot. For the camera, there was so much contrast of light...

Photo-a-day in December

During the month of December 2013 I thought it would be a fun idea to pick out a photo every day of the month that was representative of what I experienced on that day. It may not be a huge life-changing moment or be a photo that's going to win any awards - that wasn't the point. Just an image that reflected the day in question. Here are a few of them...

Dating from 1893, this old Ghost Town in the Superstitition Mountains is a brilliant lesson in the history of Arizona's Gold Rush.

The drive from the valley up to Sedona goes through multiple changes of scenery and is a brilliant way to show off Arizona to visiting friends from the motherland. The journey saves the best till last...
